Inc. Hosts Largest Midwest SolidWorks Users
Conference NORTHBROOK, IL, March
21, 2000 - Computer
Aided Technology, Inc., (CATI) the Nation’s No. 1 SolidWorks
Integrator, today announced that its Fourth Annual Spring Midwest
SolidWorks Users Conference, held at the Hyatt Regency McCormick
Place in Chicago, Illinois, was its largest ever. This year’s Users
Conference saw over a 100 percent increase in attendance from last
year’s event due to the strong interest in the release of SolidWorks
2000 and the rapid growth of the CATI SolidWorks user base
throughout the Midwest.
The annual event brings SolidWorks users together with
representatives from SolidWorks, SolidWorks’ Solution Partners and
CATI to discuss ideas, trends, and the technology shaping the future
of mechanical design. Sponsors of the Users Conference include
SolidWorks Corporation and leading SolidWorks’ Solution
Partners. The Users Conference was held
following the National Design and Engineering Show at McCormick
Place and provided over 400 attendees with technical presentations,
including a keynote address on SolidWorks by Vic Leventhal,
SolidWorks COO, a briefing on new functionality in SolidWorks 2000,
and Technical Presentations from SolidWorks users (CASE/New Holland
Corporation and Milwaukee School of Engineering). Comments SolidWorks User Dominic
Vaglica, Ansimag, Incorporated, “Without a doubt CATI and SolidWorks
are two of the finest companies anyone could ever hope to work
with….SolidWorks is a great product, but it is only as good as the
support behind it. I
consider CATI to be a company that is of the highest caliber,
providing the best in support, training and sales that I have worked
with in this industry bar none!”
"CATI works hard to meet the
ever-changing needs of the engineering community. Throughout the
year, all CATI facilities provide SolidWorks users with free monthly
Night Schools, Technology Briefings and specialized training
courses,” comments Robert Roberman, President and CEO of CATI. Roberman continues,
“We believe the Annual Spring Users Conference is the ideal
opportunity for engineers, designers and managers from all
industries and locations throughout the Midwest to share ideas,
network and meet with leading engineering software providers.” About CATI Computer Aided Technology, Inc.
