Leading SolidWorks Reseller Strengthens Customer Support, Rolls Out SolidWorks 2001 Plus and Launches Subsidiary

BUFFALO GROVE, IL, December 12, 2001 - Computer Aided Technology, Inc., (CATI), announced today that they are accelerating their commitment to providing superior value-added products and services to the engineering and manufacturing communities. Already a leading reseller of a number of best-in-class technologies, CATI has taken its dedication to the community even further by offering a number of enhanced services to their customers.

As a result of recent surveys CATI has implemented a few key changes that will increase the level of support offered to their customers:

• Customer support improvements include extended support hours, added training courses, refocused events and enhancements to the CATalyst program, a complete technical services solution.
• Newly developed training classes include 2D to 3D, targeted at the Autocad user transitioning to solid modeling; and SolidWorks Detailing, both being a single-day format.
• In response to customer feedback, CATI’s innovative SolidWorks Night School will focus completely on the SolidWorks solution. Time that was previously devoted to other topics will be redirected towards technical aspects of SolidWorks.
• The CATalyst program, a comprehensive technical solution that enables members to access a variety of CATI classes and services for the best overall technical solution available, now includes the Certified SolidWorks Professional Exam (CSWP) at no extra charge.

CATI recently hosted over 200 customers at its SolidWorks 2001 Plus Customer Appreciation Events throughout the Midwest. These events were designed as a way for CATI to say "thank you" to clients for their support as well as keep them informed by being one of the first to present the newest release of SolidWorks. Customers can also look forward to separate no-charge "What’s New" training sessions in the coming months.

CATI has also been strengthening offerings to their clients by launching a new subsidiary, InFlow Technology. The new business was formed in response to the increasing need for collaborative design and communication throughout the engineering, manufacturing and production processes.
