SolidWorks 2007 Service Pack 4.0 has been released. SolidWorks Explorer update install may error on some systems.
When installing the updated service pack you may experience an error.
“Internal error 2756 SHORTCUTPATH” occurs when updating SolidWorks Explorer and trying to remove the old shortcut Icons.
The cause of this is currently unknown and is under investigation. The work around is to remove SolidWorks Explorer from Add/Remove programs then re-install it from your update download. It will install the full program.
