Account Specialist
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
We are currently seeking an Account Specialist to join our team of professionals in Buffalo Grove, IL.
Position Overview: Responsible for processing all sales orders for new and existing customers. This position requires the ability to work independently, manage supporting resources, and take control of all aspects of order processing. Daily phone and email correspondence related to order confirmation, order entry, order fulfillment and associated accounting are daily requirements.
Responsibilities
Process Orders:
- Enter, proof, and make all orders live.
- Communicate with the sales staff to clear up any missing information or inconsistencies on orders. Follow-up on rejected orders when necessary.
- Maintain a superior level of accuracy while doing any work, particularly involving order management. Understand commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures.
- Acquire knowledge of product line. Understand deliverables.
- Maintain accurate customer records in all software systems, CRM, accounting and other programs as trained.
- Respond to customer, sales, and vendor inquiries or questions relating to orders, order fulfillment and confirmations, vendor purchase orders, and general customer service questions.
- Maintain file systems and daily filing tasks for all orders.
- Understand the difference between a customer purchase order and a vendor purchase order.
- Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies.
- Post vendor invoices relating to sales orders in accounting software.
- Help management with month end close.
- Perform other related duties in support of the office as assigned by management
Backup to Receptionist:
- Answer and redirect inbound calls on all lines.
- Learn the various departments within the company to be able to route the calls correctly.
- Use of CRM necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years accounting knowledge and skills
- Minimum two years customer service and data entry experience
- Superior spelling and grammar proficiency
- Detailed-oriented
- Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of activities throughout the day
- Ability to learn new skills, adapt to changing environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to work with team members
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills
- Experience in telephone etiquette and protocol
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with accounting software is a plus

Application Engineer
Location: Brookfield, WI
We are currently seeking an Application Engineer to join our team of professionals in Brookfield, WI.
Position Overview: Responsible for the training and pre-sales activities of primarily SolidWorks and related products.
Responsibilities:
Training
- Conduct technical training ranging from introductory material through high end, advanced analysis complex modeling methodologies.
- Assist in maintaining training hardware and infrastructure.
Pre-Sales Support
- Support company sales efforts by conducting pre-sales demonstrations and presentations to customers and prospective customers.
- Provide technical assistance to sale personnel for customer meetings.
- Deliver demonstrations and presentations comfortably to anyone in a company hierarchy from a draftsman to the CEO or business owner.
- Develop and present custom demonstrations to satisfy specific customer requests.
- Assist sales personnel in the qualifying prospective customer, determining critical business issues, and product positioning.
- Create post-sales content for marketing related blogs, user groups, newsletters and conferences.
Continue education by obtaining and maintaining the following certifications: Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) and Certified SolidWorks Instructor (CSWI).
Requirements:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of 3D CAD applications, SolidWorks preferred
- Thorough understanding of engineering processe

We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team of professionals in both Kansas City, MO and Buffalo Grove, IL.
Position Overview:
As a technical sales professional you will consistently demonstrate the ability to create an environment whereby you operate as a true business person, dealing with clients at a business-to-business level, providing solutions that fulfill the clients' business needs. Sourcing of the solution's 'components' may come from multiple suppliers, including Dassault Systemes SolidWorks and Stratasys, Ltd.
This position is responsible for pursuing sales leads and prospective clients, building client relationships, delivering presentations and proposals, maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions, maintaining account relations and negotiating and closing business deals.
Responsibilities Include:
- Bringing leading edge technology to industry in a rapidly evolving, hot product market.
- Meeting or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual unit and revenue goals.
- Managing the sales activities of the assigned territory and provide detailed, accurate monthly forecasts.
- Coordinating the activities of Applications Engineers to ensure that clients are receiving the appropriate level of technical training and sales support.
Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:
- 4 year degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in technology sales, preferably to product development and manufacturing organizations
- Rapid Prototyping experience a plus
- Must have prior success calling on C- and V-level decision makers
- Must have strong prospecting skills and ability develop business
