Management

Richard Werneth, President
rich wernethA veteran of CATI since 1994, Rich has implemented numerous programs to increase awareness and provide learning opportunities for engineers, as well as launch the CATI Indianapolis facility. Prior to joining CATI in 1994, he worked in product development and mold engineering. In this capacity he used and evaluated a number of CAD technologies and focused primarily on medical and automotive projects. Rich is a certified SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulation Support Technician. He has a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.

Yvonne Peterka, Chief Financial Officer
yvonne peterkaAs Chief Financial Officer, Yvonne is responsible for all financial and legal activities, directs the IT department and is in charge of Human Resources. In addition to directing these departments, Yvonne is responsible for numerous other administrative functions at the company. Prior to joining Computer Aided Technology, Yvonne served as Chief Financial Officer for CADPRO Chicago, Inc., a value added reseller of computer design software. Prior to CADPRO, Yvonne served as controller for an aluminum manufacturing company based in Chicago.

Rod Levin, President, InFlow Technology
rod levinRod has led InFlow Technology since it was formed in 2001. He has 20 years of industry experience in product development and technology implementation. He was Manager of Mechanical Engineering in the Consumer Electronics group at Zenith Electronics. At Zenith he was responsible for the mechanical development of televisions, remote controls and the first consumer HDTV on the US market as well as deployment of mechanical CAD and PDM systems corporate wide. He also earned two US patents and represented Zenith at the 1997 Emmy Awards. Rod’s educational background includes a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.

Adrian Fanjoy, Technical Services Manager
adrian fanjoyAdrian comes to CATI with a diverse background, including mechanical design engineering, manufacturing engineering, engineering consulting, and CAD/CAM sales, training, and consulting. A degreed Aircraft Engineer, Adrian has worked in several industries including medical devices, large vehicles (Caterpillar), and CAD/CAM sales and services (Parametric Technology Corporation). With his engineering, training, and consulting experience, Adrian makes a valuable contribution to the CATI team.

Eric H. Gold, Regional Sales Director
eric goldEric has spent the last 13 years helping manufacturing companies increase efficiencies and reduce costs. In his current role, Eric is responsible for introducing CATI customers and prospects to a broad range of new solutions and for maintaining CATI’s high level of customer satisfaction in Illinois. Eric cut his teeth on the other side of our business, working for Elk Corporation (now a member of the GAF family) early in his career. He has spent the majority of his career as a solutions provider with Rand Technologies and now CATI. Eric is a graduate of Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI.

Tom Humrickhouse, Vice President of Digital Prototyping
tom humrickhouseTom brings to CATI more than 20 years of Mechanical Engineering expertise including but not limited to structural, thermal, fluid flow analysis, and 3D CAD.  In addition to Tom’s engineering experience he also has been a successful business owner providing product design and prototyping software and hardware tools to the engineering community for over ten years.  In 2007 Tom’s company was acquired by CATI where he is now the Vice President of the Digital Prototyping team whose charter is to provide customers and prospects with the ultimate experience and expertise in regards to digital validation and prototyping tools. Tom has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago.

Ronnie C. Flaugh- Tooling Applications
ronnie flaughRonnie brings 28 years of experience in the Tool & Die industry to Strategic Technology Solutions.   His background is in designing deep draw, progressive, transfer, line dies and automated secondary machines.  He has designed projects for companies like Allison, Chrysler, Ford, GM Motors, Cummins, Whirlpool, Maytag, MacDonald-Douglas, Boeing, Ford GT40, Plymouth Prowler, Allison, and Buell motorcycle working with ferrous and non-ferrous metals.  Ron’s CAD experience includes Cadkey, FastSURF, CadMax, SolidWorks, and 3DQuickTools products.  Ronnie provides full technical support to current customers, demonstrating products, and assisting new prospects with his technical experience and knowledge. 

Justin Webster, Product Manager – PLM Solutions, InFlow Technology
justin websterJustin has been working in the CAD/CAM/PLM industry for over 10 years.  He has worked with customers all over North America to help improve productivity in many aspects of the product development.  Justin has helped customers implement 3D Modeling, CNC Programming, Mold Design, and, over the past 6 years, Product Lifecycle Management.  Currently, Justin helps customers understand the InFlow PLM solutions and heads up the SolidWorks PLM implementation team at InFlow.  He also worked for 3 years in transmission design at Case Corporation and earned his engineering degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Rajat Trehan- Product Manager-Design Validation rajat trehan
Rajat has a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University, Virginia. Coming from a Research and Teaching background, he has a great hold on engineering concepts. Rajat specializes in Flow Analysis; has written technical papers on Flow around vehicles, and has presented at ASME Fluids Conference, Solid Works World and User Communities. In his capacity as Product Manager for Design Validation, he works closely with customers, understanding core problems and helping them save time and money using Design Validation tools.

Robert McGaughey, Regional Technical Manager
bob mcgaugheyRobert has been with CATI since 2002, bringing a wide experience of design, consulting, and instruction. Robert has a B.S. degree from Purdue University and was an instructor there as well. Starting as an Applications Engineer he is now responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through his technical team in Illinois. Robert has achieved upper level of certifications from SolidWorks, seven in all, including SolidWorks Certified Professional and SolidWorks Simulation Advance Technician.

Josh Altergott – Support Team Leader
josh altergottJosh Altergott has worked for CATI since Feb 2002 and started with CATI as an Applications Engineer performing demonstrations, training and support for SolidWorks and the related products that CATI supports. Josh now heads the CATI technical support team and oversees the day to day operations of the support group. Before coming onboard with CATI Josh spent 7 years working for several different manufacturing companies in Northern Illinois. Josh has a degree in CAD Drafting from the College of Lake County where he continues to teach SolidWorks courses.
