CATIpult learning sessions are unique educational opportunities designed for SolidWorks users of various experience levels.
CATI Technical Analysts have put together a series of hour long presentations in the form of convenient webcasts. The CATIpult webcasts are conducted via Webex and consist of live SolidWorks hands-on training, Power Point presentations, and product demonstrations.

Gaming the System - Tricky Tricks for Modeling and Editing. An exploration of unexpected and devious tricks for editing SolidWorks models, reorganizing history, and reverse Engineering from scans/imported models. You will learn useful techniques employing things like deliberately sabotaging features and creating place-holding geometry as work-arounds for vexing every-day problems.

Welded Structures from Proper Implementation, Pit Falls, to Drawings. Attendees will understand the importance of proper implementation, including setup of profiles, cut lists, and properties. The creation of a well-organized weldment with 2D and 3D sketches along geometric limitations will be discussed. In addition, attendees will learn how to create a weldment to minimize file size, organize a feature tree, and easily create a cut list.

30+ Things That YOU Definitely Missed from Essentials. You will get a fast-paced look at what you might have missed, glossed over, or just plain forgot from Essentials. With the amount of material covered in the Essentials class, there is no possible way to cover it all, let alone retain it. Studies show that 25% or less is retained from visual presentations. We hope to shed some light on the glossed over, rarely hit, or just plain missing Essentials. |

Allowing SolidWorks to Perform. Through real-world examples, you will learn several ways to enhance SolidWorks performance, including improved modeling methods, proper SolidWorks configuration, and appropriate hardware configuration and maintenance. Methods of diagnosing poorly performing existing models will also be explored.Optimal use of SolidWorks is reached only when the machine environment has been properly configured and maintained and the appropriate modeling methods have been employed. This presentation will explore several aspects of enhancing SolidWorks performance. |

Introduction to Routing. Help save your company money on materials by estimating the length needed, seeing path obstructions in the design phase, and linking your circuit summaries to your design. This session introduces basic, entry level routing, including how to enable, start a route, create a wiring harness, lay out piping, create a component, and add to a drawing. |
