Visual Components, 3DVideo

3DVideo is a simple lightweight plug-in or stand-alone application for interactive viewing of visual components and configured layouts. Its powerful simulation engine allows complex manufacturing mechanisms and systems to be run in real-time on standard laptops in clear vivid detail. Its easy to use interface means anybody with a PC can load and run a three dimensional simulation model without training.

Unlike MPEG, AVI, and Quicktime files, 3DVideo files are small in size and easily shared through email. You can observe a working system from any angle and zoom in on formerly obscured details for close inspection. Typical file sizes are less than 100kb!

  • provide a demonstration focal point for new features and application possibilities
  • demonstrate new product features interactively
  • mail or leave a 3DVideo layout with a customer to review and promote the concept to all levels within their organization.
  • eliminate physical location as a factor in planning and decision-making.
  • let the customer and design team "walk through" a production line to identify trouble-spots early on.

Guaranteed distribution

Know that all 3DVideo recipients can view their layouts, even if local libraries are not present. The web-based Visual Component Directory service provides a constant reference to component library web-sites, so individual pieces of equipment can be automatically located and streamed to your computer on demand.

How do I get my own 3DVideo player?

3DVideo can be downloaded from download section. Branded 3DVideo players are available from licensed partner's websites.

How much does it cost?

3DVideo applications are free to use. Companies pay a volume based annual fee for unlimited distribution of 3DVideo files, individuals and non commercial institutions may distribute 3DVideos freely.

How are 3DVideo files created?

3DVideos files are layouts made up of one or many visual components configured into a working system. All tools with 3DRealize or 3DCreate functionality save *.vcm files for viewing on 3DVideo.
