Rapid Prototyping Services
Computer Aided Technology Inc., (CATI) is a full service rapid prototyping service provider using the Objet Polyjet technology to produce your prototypes.
Computer Aided Technology’s rapid prototyping capabilities and deep technical knowledge can provide the competitive edge you need to help you get your products to market faster. CATI specializes in quick turnaround without sacrificing the quality you need. In most cases we can turn around your prototypes in four days or less. Please see our Quality/Return policy.
Materials
Prototypes are created using Objet FullCure Verowhite 830 material. Verowhite produces models that are white in color and have properties similar to ABS plastic. Click here to see the Verowhite spec sheet.
PolyJet 3D Printing Explained
The main advantage of the Polyjet process is the fine layer thickness. Polyjet based product printing is well-suited for parts with extremely fine detail that cannot be captured with stereolithography (SLA) , Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) or other rapid prototyping techniques. The Polyjet process is also a relatively inexpensive rapid prototyping technology.

Technical Overview of Rapid Prototyping
Rapid prototyping is a technology that is typically referred to as additive fabrication because the process involves building up the object by adding successive layers. This process involves providing CAD drawing information to the rapid prototyping machine, which uses that data to incrementally create the object.
