This course utilizes advanced SolidWorks functionality to explore the world of freeform part design and multibody part modeling. The course includes creation of freeform parts from several industries to demonstrate the use of advanced sweeps, lofts, and surface modeling.

At Course Completion
The student will gain the following advanced modeling skills:
- Creating solids from swept profiles and surface geometry
- Lofting complex shapes
- Face deformation utilizing the "Shape" and "Dome" features
- Creating compound and projected 3D curves
- Utilizing visible spectrum curvature analysis of complex face geometry
