| TRAINING & SUPPORT |
 |
Typically the classes at CATI are fairly small and we are able to interact with the instructor very easily. They help us after the class and make our trip worthwhile. We don’t call for technical support very often, but when we do it is a 911 and we need immediate solutions. CATI is always very receptive to that and able to address the issues in a timely manner for us.
- Mark Lockwood, Engineering Team Leader, Barnstead-Thermolyne. |

We have specific tooling layout tasks that previously took one to two weeks to finish, but having been properly trained by CATI , I was doing as many as 2 or 3 a day in SolidWorks. Tooling projects used to take about half a day. Now I can generate models within a matter of a couple of minutes.
- Jerry Weekley, a member of the Plant Engineering Department and a 17-year veteran at Ford Meter Box. |
 |
The total time spent before we were making usable drawings was actually quite short, largely due to CATI’s training. Training plus CATI’s efficient Technical Support Department made the experience very easy for us to administer.

I wanted to let you know I was in class last week and it was great. … I feel I learned a lot about SolidWorks. In fact, I am so excited about the program, I would like to come to more classes as soon as I can.

CATI has excellent telephone support. There have been some tough problems, but there have been no cases in which the CATI tech was unable to solve it. We always get called back!! CATI Appleton is an excellent facility. The quality of the instruction coupled with the outline of the program was consistent with the level of need in regards to training. Night School is outstanding! We appreciate CATI taking time to offer this forum. It has presented our users with new and interesting capabilities (of SolidWorks) that would not have made themselves apparent in normal use. Our users have brought solid modeling problems with them to the Night School and the CATI tech helped them on the spot.

Manitowoc Pattern & Manufacturing has been in the pattern business for over fifty years. SolidWorks has allowed us to move into new markets – die cast, injection molds and permanent molds to name a few. When we decided to move into solid modeling, we quickly realized SolidWorks was the best fit for our organization.
SolidWorks documentation and support from CATI made the transition from surface modeling to solid modeling painless. We immediately put SolidWorks to the test, designing the largest permanent mold we’ve ever built – a pressure cooker mold with over 550 parts. In fact, the model was completed about four weeks after our very first look at SolidWorks.

I learned interesting stuff in some of the classes but didn’t think that I would use it, and then I find out two weeks later I’m applying what I learned.

CATI invests a lot of money back into the technical support service aspect of the business. They offer proprietary courses that are extremely beneficial to the client, and it’s industry specific. For example, the new Industrial Design courses that CATI offers address everyday situations and problems which engineers encounter. There are a lot of forward thinkers at CATI.

We have since attended a training session at your Brookfield facility, and were very impressed with our Instructor, the facility and the overall professionalism displayed by CATI’s staff. We sincerely appreciate working with Computer Aided Technology, and look forward to a solid, future relationship with CATI as our primary engineering technology provider.
- Horst G. Schedler, Project Engineer, Advanced Machine & Engineering Co. |

We will certainly contact CATI for any future engineering technology matters, and would not hesitate to refer your company to others in the industry. It’s been very nice to work with your company. Thank you.

Many companies at this point were looking to go from 2d to 3d, but we had already done that. Instead, we were faced with the decision of whether or not we had the best solid modeler on the market. In the end, we felt that SolidWorks and our reseller CATI had the qualities that most closely matched our own business philosophy of striving to remain innovative.
- Paul Sina, Senior Project Engineer, M-B-W Slinger |

Kudos to the team at CATI! We wouldn't think of going somewhere else. Why?
* Ultra fast responses to questions (immediate to 1-2 hours).
* Courteous, friendly, respectful, patient
* Knowledgeable - We always get an answer (no "That is unsupported functionality" or other pass-offs)
- Nick DeMarco, Analogix, Inc. |

The staff at Computer Aided Technology is highly professional, experienced, friendly, and interested in building a long-term relationship, which is important to us.
- Gareth Hatch, Dexter Magnetics |
| SALES PROCESS |
 |
Too many vendor reps like to sell the products they have to offer rather than listening to what the customer needs, and trying to fulfill those. With CATI’s level of professionalism, their sales and technical representatives want to understand what we do and provide us with the right solutions.
- Jim Nohr, Nohr Pattern |
 |
It was much more then just the sales pitch. It was after-the-fact, the questions we asked and the answers they gave us.
- David George, Frasca Int'l |

Events like CATI’s CATIpult Sessions are great for small businesses. It’s great for those users to get out, feel relaxed, and know that there are other people who have the same concerns and the same goals.

CATIpults are great. CATI hosts them in Rockford, which is great because we don't have to travel.
