SolidWorks Part Modeling
Course ID: S201

This course utilizes advanced SolidWorks functionality to explore the world of freeform part design and multi body part modeling. The course includes creation of freeform parts from several industries to demonstrate the use of advanced sweeps, lofts, and surface modeling.

Classroom: 3 sessions, 7 hours each
Virtual Classroom: 6 sessions 3-1/2 hours each

At Course Completion
Students will gain the following skills working with advanced assembly techniques and methodologies.

  • Creating solids from swept profiles and surface geometry
  • Lofting complex shapes
  • Face deformation utilizing the "Shape" and "Dome" features
  • Creating compound and projected 3D curves
  • Utilizing visible spectrum curvature analysis of complex face geometry
