Because the plant is now the critical path to getting products to market, we brought drag and drop to plant design.
3DRealize makes it possible for any user to quickly generate working modules or production systems within a short period of time. You can compare different layouts, equipment selections and throughput possibilities in real time with staff, suppliers and customers. Having the machines move and parts flow adds the required dimension a wide audience needs to understand a manufacturing process.
- you get performance results to use for decision making
- the user-friendly visuals are easily distributed via e-mail allowing you to
- collaborate online
- demonstrate proposals
- communicate complex design, production and process issues
- share your current or future production line proposals
3DRealize is easy to use. Simply drag and drop machinery and equipment from ready made libraries and snap them together to create a valid working layout. Check the footprint with available floor space and then press "Run" to see the system perform. When you are ready, attach the email - "send as email" - or create high quality pictures to print out for quotes or marketing and support material.

- display current foot-print dimensions
- check distances between machiner
- simulate production flow
- print brochure quality pictures for quotes
- check part numbers and get a complete BOM
- add localised pricing information
- email lightweight *.vcm layout files
- check for reachability and collisions
- collect performance data for analysis
- import plant layouts (DXF, STL, VRML, 3DS ..)

Generate standard valid layouts with correct operational parameters
3DRealize uses visual component libraries provided by different automation suppliers as well as Visual Components. Because the data comes from a reliable source you can be confident the operational parameters are realistic and not false or the result of an input error. Also when generating the component libraries using 3DCreate, configuration rules are added to ensure only compatible equipment is used for layout development. When completed, sales people can hand over a proposal to engineers to fine tune and customise and then resend a revised layout back to the client for review and approval.
Unlike static 3D models or animations, the 3DRealize simulation lets you modify parameters and mix and match machinery until your needs are met. If your needs change you can go back to a layout and modify quite effortlessly, even if someone else created the first proposal.
Who is 3DRealize for
View Results on 3DVideo
Not everyone needs to have a 3DRealize license to see the results. All layout files and component models can be viewed on 3DVideo. If you receive a layout (*.vcm) file by email, first you need to download and install a 3DVideo program, and then double click on the attached layout or open it from the email to view and simulate on your PC. The easy to install 3DVideo has simple navigation buttons to let you view the working layout from any angle and position.
