Upcoming CATI Training Classes for January 2017

A common tradition at the start of a new year is to make a promise to do an act of self-improvement. There is no better way to improve your knowledge of SOLIDWORKS than by taking a training class. Computer Aided Technology (CATI) offers over 50 training classes in January 2017. CATI is certified by SOLIDWORKS, Stratasys, and our other partners. In addition to the complete catalog of course offerings from these partners, CATI has developed unique classes to meet the needs of our customers. In total, there are over 50 different training classes to choose from, including classes in Design, Simulation, Data Management, Design Automation, 3D Printing and more.

Classroom Training

The traditional method of learning is the classroom environment. To help you get the most out of our products, CATI, along with MCAD Technologies, operate a nationwide network of full-services facilities using state-of-the-art equipment, serving clients in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Alaska, Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Classes are kept at a reasonable size so that you do not get lost in the crowd.

A lot of material is covered in a short time, but our instructors are there to make sure that no one is left behind. This personal attention is a nice feature to make sure that you get the most value from your learning experience.

Virtual Classroom Training

For clients who cannot get away from the office, the Virtual Classroom (VC) is an innovative way to deliver the full classroom training. These courses are setup as ½ day sessions that you can take using your own computer with fast internet connection and a phone.

This virtual training class is not just a pre-recorded video.

The classes are taught by a real instructor live over the internet. Using Webex technology, you actually get to use the same state-of-the-art hardware offered in our classroom by connecting directly to our computers, which eliminates the need to worry about installing any software on your machine.

The class is a must for anyone who is the designated CAD Administrator or the “Go to Person” for their company or department.

SOLIDWORKS Administrator

I still cannot believe how many installation related questions we receive in technical support. Many of the questions we receive are answered in our SOLIDWORKS Administrator training course. The SOLIDWORKS Administrator Course is designed to introduce CAD administration in a SOLIDWORKS environment. Students participate in an interactive discussion of the administrative challenges commonly encountered in a SOLIDWORKS environment as well as methods of addressing those challenges.

Prerequisites: SOLIDWORKS Essentials Experience as either as engineering manager or IT background. Understanding of the Windows operating system

The SOLIDWORKS Administrator training course is taught in two 3-1/2 hour sessions. This month the Virtual Class will be held January 16, 18, 2017.
