The MDX – 40A is an easy to use desktop milling machine. It’s compact size but spacious work area allows it to fit in most any office, lab, or classroom. An optional rotary axis can be used to for unattended milling. The ZCL40 rotary 4th axis allows user to load their workpiece once, set one origin, and create a full 3D model.
Roland’s CAM software, SRP Player, makes setting up milling programs quick and easy. Simply load your model into the SRP Player and follow the 5-point step by step guide to generate the milling program. For those with their own CAM software, the MDX – 40A is G-Code compatible as well.
Parts made with the MDX – 40A have superior surface finish and require little to no post processing. The mill uses a high-precision spindle that creates highly accurate parts, so users can create high tolerance realistic prototypes and even snap fit parts.
