Let\u2019s take a deeper dive into each topic:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-89048 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/a-picture-containing-text-description-automatical-11.png\" alt=\"A picture containing text Description automatically generated\" width=\"317\" height=\"346\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Importing Decals from SOLIDWORKS Files<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Decals that are added to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cati.com\/3d-cad\/solidworks-3d-cad\/\">SOLIDWORKS<\/a> part file can now be added into Composer when the file is being imported. There are 3 ways to make this happen:<\/p>\n<p>1. To open a file with this setting, <em>click<\/em> <strong>File &gt; Open<\/strong> and <em>select<\/em> a SOLIDWORKS file. Under SOLIDWORKS, <em>select <\/em><strong>Import SOLIDWORKS decals<\/strong> in the dialog box.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-89049 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/graphical-user-interface-text-application-descr-53.png\" alt=\"Graphical user interface, text, application Description automatically generated\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2. To set this option as a default, in SOLIDWORKS Composer, <em>click<\/em> <strong>File &gt; Properties &gt; Default Document Properties &gt; Advanced Properties<\/strong>. Under <strong>INPUT &#8211; IMPORT<\/strong>, <em>select<\/em> I<strong>OSWImportDecals<\/strong> to Enable.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-89050 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/graphical-user-interface-application-description-57.png\" alt=\"Graphical user interface, application Description automatically generated\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. For Composer Sync users, at the bottom of the window, <em>click<\/em> <strong>More Properties &gt; Advanced Properties<\/strong>.
