It\u2019s here!\u00a0SOLIDWORKS 2023 Beta 1<\/a> is now available. It\u2019s time to take SOLIDWORKS 2023 for a test drive, check out the new enhancements and participate in the Beta program.<\/p>\n

What is the BETA Program?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Participating in the Beta program is more than just taking the next release of SOLIDWORKS for a test drive. It\u2019s about connecting with the BETA community and interacting with the SOLIDWORKS R&D team to provide your feedback on the new functionality. The only requirement to be eligible to participate is you need to be a current subscription customer.<\/p>\n

How can you participate?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It all starts on the SOLIDWORKS Beta Site<\/a>.\u00a0 This site provides information about the Beta Program and FAQs.<\/p>\n

\"Graphical<\/p>\n

There are two ways to test: downloading and installing or testing online.<\/p>\n

Getting it installed<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To get started, click the large ‘Download Beta’ button, and log in if have not already done so.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll be taken to the following page to download and install the software. This process is just like any SOLIDWORKS installation you are familiar with.<\/p>\n

\"Graphical<\/p>\n

Remember that SOLIDWORKS 2023 BETA is pre-release software for testing purposes only and\u00a0NOT FOR PRODUCTION<\/strong>\u00a0use. It is recommended that you install SOLIDWORKS 2023 Beta software on a separate computer, not your primary SOLIDWORKS machine. When installing, make sure you choose Beta specific file locations for the installation itself and Toolbox Data folder. Any files saved in SOLIDWORKS 2023 Beta cannot be opened in older versions of the software.<\/p>\n

Test Online<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Testing SOLIDWORKS 2023 BETA online is a great way to keep BETA testing and your production SOLIDWORKS environment separate. Choose the big ‘Test Online’ button on the main 2023 BETA page, or on MySolidworks<\/a>, log in and select the Launch button.<\/p>\n
