Here are the top 4.\u00a0 You can also watch this content on our YouTube channel:<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Hp_hi-QGI6I\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>eDrawings Support for More Non-SOLIDWORKS Files<\/h2>\n<p>First, the most significant update is to eDrawings&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/help.solidworks.com\/2023\/English\/eDrawings\/t_Opening_Files.htm?verRedirect=1\">support for non-SOLIDWORKS file types<\/a>, which has not changed since 2019. Users will take advantage of updates to supported versions of ACIS, Inventor, CATIA V4, CATIA V5, CATIA V6\/3DEXPERIENCE, Creo, JT, NX, Parasolid, Solid Edge, and STEP files.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-192432\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/table-description-automatically-generated.jpeg\" alt=\"eDrawings 2023 provides support for additional files types, not previously supported. Check out the list of files in this image.\" width=\"544\" height=\"502\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/table-description-automatically-generated.jpeg 544w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/table-description-automatically-generated-300x277.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 544px) 100vw, 544px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After all, what good is a file viewer if the only files it can open are from the pre-pandemic era?<\/p>\n<h2>Display Model Measurements as Fractions in eDrawings 2023<\/h2>\n<p>Second, there may be occasions where you need to display model measurements as fractions. That is now possible with eDrawings 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Simply open the Measure pane and under Units, choose &#8216;Inches&#8217; or &#8216;Feet and Inches&#8217; and then select &#8216;Display in Fractions&#8217;. Finish it out by entering the desired denominator for the fraction.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-192433\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/word-image-192431-2.png\" alt=\"In this image, we see that eDrawings 2023 allows you to show measurements with fractions instead of decimals if you choose.\" width=\"359\" height=\"140\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/word-image-192431-2.png 359w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/word-image-192431-2-300x117.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 359px) 100vw, 359px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You also have the option to Round to the next highest fraction if the measurement does not have an exact fractional value for the specified denominator. This option will save time and reduce errors in converting measurements to fractions.<\/p>\n<h2>Wireframe AND Hidden Lines Visible<\/h2>\n<p>The third update for 2023 brings an update to Display Styles. Wireframe is now truly an option, along with Hidden Lines Visible. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-192434\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/diagram-description-automatically-generated-2.png\" alt=\"eDrawings 2023 supports both a true wireframe and a hidden lines visible option. This image shows what hidden lines visible looks like.\" width=\"1432\" height=\"805\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/diagram-description-automatically-generated-2.png 1432w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/diagram-description-automatically-generated-2-300x169.png 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/diagram-description-automatically-generated-2-1024x576.png 1024w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/diagram-description-automatically-generated-2-768x432.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1432px) 100vw, 1432px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Hidden Lines Removed was incorrectly labeled &#8220;Wireframe&#8221;, and that has now been corrected.<\/p>\n<h2>Enhanced Language Support for Web-Based eDrawing Files<\/h2>\n<p>The fourth and final enhancement to 2023, and specific to eDrawings Professional, is the update to Save As Web HTML. This functionality was introduced in 2019 and is a super-easy way to create an HTML-based version of your eDrawings file.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, after opening the HTML file, there are multiple options for displaying the user interface in a localized language.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-192435 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.cati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/chart-description-automatically-generated.png\" alt=\"Chart Description automatically generated\" width=\"173\" height=\"426\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/chart-description-automatically-generated.png 361w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/chart-description-automatically-generated-122x300.png 122w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 173px) 100vw, 173px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This is great!
