Main Differences between SOLIDWORKS Electrical and SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D?

The SOLIDWORKS Electrical and SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D products together provide the same design functionality as SOLIDWORKS Electrical Professional. SOLIDWORKS Electrical can be installed on a PC without SolidWorks. SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D is an add‐in to SOLIDWORKS and therefore it requires SolidWorks. SOLIDWORKS Electrical Professional installs the 2D and 3D products together on one computer that must have SOLIDWORKS installed (the 2D and 3D products share licensing and can’t be separated).
