3D Systems

At the root of 3D printing is an additive manufacturing process. In essence, 3D printing makes three dimensional solid objects from a digital CAD file. Using an additive process, like FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) or InkJet-based technology, a model is created by laying down successive layers of material. The result is accurate, functional concept models, rapid prototypes and product mockups.
