SOLIDWORKS 2019 What’s New – Keyboard Accessibility – #SW2019
One of the things that most people love about SOLIDWORKS is the flexibility to set things up and work the way that best suits the user. This has been very apparent in all the different ways we can set up our interface or execute commands. Navigation thru the SOLIDWORKS interface is simple. Some people use a corded mouse, while others spend significant money on a high precision mouse. Some people use a Wacom tablet and others use the touch screen capabilities. Others even spend a lot of time custom mapping commands into the keyboard hot keys. No matter what your preference, SOLIDWORKS is going to continue to enhance this flexibility, and 2019 is no different.
New keyboard navigation tools are now available. You can now use the keyboard arrows to navigate your way through the shortcut bars, shortcut menus, and context toolbars in the graphics area.
I hope this part of the What’s New series gives you a better understanding of the new features and functions of SOLIDWORKS 2019. Please check back to the CATI Blog as the CATI Application Engineers will continue to break down many of the new items in SOLIDWORKS 2019. All these articles will be stored in the category of “SOLIDWORKS What’s New.”
