Top SOLIDWORKS Reseller, Computer Aided Technology, Donates SOLIDWORKS Licenses to 32nd Annual I.D.E.A. Regional Drafting & CAD Competition.

Buffalo Grove, IL – March 25, 2009 – Computer Aided Technology Inc., www.cati.com, top SOLIDWORKS Reseller, recently participated in the 32nd annual I.D.E.A. Regional Drafting and CAD competition. CATI supported this year’s event by providing prizes for the competition.

Josh Altergott, CATI Technical Support Team Leader, and part-time SOLIDWORKS instructor at College of Lake County, where the event took place facilitated the donation of the SOLIDWORKS Student Design Licenses.

“As SOLIDWORKS Technical Support Team Leader for CATI, and a SOLIDWORKS instructor at CLC, I understand how important it is for students interested in 3D CAD to start learning early. That is why CATI has supported the I.D.E.A. event over the years.  We’re proud to donate our time and resources to this event,” he said.

The event consisted of teachers from local high schools who accompanied over 90 students in competitions including different categories of board drafting, Introduction to CAD, Mechanical CAD, Architectural CAD, and finally, Solid Modeling CAD.
