Through this network of SOLIDWORKS Certified Testing Centers, local SOLIDWORKS Authorized Training and Support Centers will be providing a more cost-effective method to obtain credentials as a CSWP. The SWCTC program is another way that our resellers add value to SOLIDWORKS and meet the needs of their customers.”
The Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional program accommodates the growing needs of the user community measuring proficiency and providing the edge to compete for top-ranked industry positions. Through the certification of SOLIDWORKS resellers the Certified Testing Centers (CTC) will create localized testing network areas whereby users can easily access the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP) program. CATI has completed the requirements of the Certified Testing Center Program. CATI was one of only five value added reseller’s in the nation to participate in the CTC pilot program.
The purpose of the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional Program is to establish an industry standard through which SOLIDWORKS professionals can be evaluated. This evaluation will be completed using a fair, comprehensive test on user knowledge of SOLIDWORKS and ability to capture and edit the design intent of a model. Completing the evaluation will accomplish two goals. First, on an individual level achieving certification will establish the user as a highly competent professional in the use of SOLIDWORKS. Second, for the hiring managers this will act as a valuable assessment to attest for the individual’s competency. Therefore, reducing the amount of time and energy typically required to research prospective candidates abilities.
