PolyJet Materials

3D print precision prototypes in 1000s of material combinations using PolyJet Technology. Stratasys’ PolyJet Technology 3D prints in the widest variety of materials, so you can create realistic prototypes that closely resemble finished products. Models are precisely printed in layers as fine as 16 microns for smooth surfaces and complex geometries. Material properties range from rubber to rigid, transparent to opaque, and standard to biocompatible.

Vero Ultra

The new opaque colors enable the perfect simulation of high-quality injection molded parts. These new colors meet the 2D graphics standards while providing strong color contrast and color separation. Super realistic labels, graphics or text can be added to the model to simulate silkscreen printing or printed stickers. VeroUltra™ White and VeroUltra™ Black together with PolyJet Vivid colors, allow the creation of highly professional full color models, with realistic finishes. VeroClear is a transparent material that simulates PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate), commonly known as acrylic. Like PMMA, VeroClear is used as an alternative to glass and is ideal for concept modeling and design verification of clear parts such as eyewear, light covers and medical devices.


VeroUltraClear simulates acrylic, achieving 95% light transmission of that material, and is useful for prototypes of glass, clear polymers, or transparent packaging. VeroUltraClear improves upon the past performance of VeroClear with a higher level of clarity, transparency and a lower yellow index.


VeroContactClear is a rigid transparent rapid prototyping material that is biocompatible. The material is allowed for proof of concepts and prototypes requiring skin or mouth contact.


VeroFlex offers a unique combination of stiffness and flexibility ideal for all prototyping phases of eyewear design and manufacturing. Get designs with full-part realism in a wide range of colors, textures and materials from opaque to transparent for improved performance testing.

Digital ABS Plus

Digital ABS Plus creates realistic, precise parts and tools that are tough and heat resistant. Designed to simulate durable production plastics, Digital ABS Plus delivers high impact strength with high-temperature resistance and superior finish.


Elastico™ is a superior rubber-like PolyJet™ photopolymer family ideal for advanced design verification and rapid prototyping. Get more durable, tear-resistant prototypes that can stand up to repeated flexing and bending. With a Shore A value of 45 in clear and black, Elastico accurately simulates the look, feel and function of rubber-like products. 3D print rubber surrounds, over-molds, soft-touch coatings, living hinges, jigs and fixtures, wearables, grips and seals with improved surface texture.


Create realistic prototypes with flexible, rubber-like qualities. Tango simulates soft-touch coatings, nonslip surfaces, rubber surrounds or overmolding. Test and verify grips, pulls, handles, gaskets or footwear in a range of Shore A values comparable to rubber bands, tire treads and shoe heels.


Durus is the original simulated polypropylene material and exhibits great impact resilience and an elongation at break of 44%.

High Temperature

High Temperature has the highest heat deflection of any PolyJet standalone material and great surface smoothness. High temperature is strong and stiff, ideal for static parts or thermal testing parts that require high heat resistance such as plumbing fixtures and household appliances.


Rigur, an advanced simulated polypropylene, offers durability and a smooth finish. 3D print precision prototypes that look and behave like polypropylene. Rapidly create models to test form, fit and function for snap-fit assemblies, living hinges and durable housings and packaging.


DraftGrey is a rigid material used exclusively with the Super High Speed print mode for concept modeling. Models will have a medium opacity and smooth finish. Printing at 2x the speed of High Speed mode with a 57 microns layer thickness, DraftGrey is the cheapest and fastest way to model on Stratasys PolyJet printers.


Agilus30 is a PolyJet Photopolymer with superior tear-resistance, capable of withstanding repeated flexing and bending. The ideal material for rapid prototyping and design validation, this rubber-like material simulates the look, feel and function of rubber-like products. This durable, rubber-like photopolymer is capable of withstanding repeated flexing and bending. Agilus30 has a Shore A value of 30 in clear or black.


Translucent RGD720 lets designers form and fit test see-through parts and prototypes. The rigid PolyJet material is ideal for concept modeling and design verification of clear and tinted parts such as glass consumer products, eyewear, light covers and medical devices.


BoneMatrix creates complex material depositing patterns that mimic porous bone structures, fibrotic tissues, and ligaments. It is a tough, flexible material with memory to maintain its shape. Musculoskeletal models match bone density characteristics and behave like native bone when force is applied such as discectomy, drilling, reaming or sawing.


The softest commercially available 3D printing material lets you create models that feel and behave like native organ tissue when force is applied. TissueMatrix is soft and flexible, but durable enough for suturing, cutting, inserting, and deploying devices. Combined with Agilus30, it creates a range - from highly extensible to stiffened - to simulate fatty tissue, fibrotic tissue, soft organs and tumors. A study comparing the biomechanical properties of porcine tissue to 3D printed myocardium found that Digital Anatomy printed models mimic real tissue better than any other material.


Unique GelMatrix material and GelSupport™ depositing patterns allow you to print small and large, complex vascular structures and easily remove internal support material. The advanced material has a pudding-like consistency that allows for simple cleaning of blood vessel models. Water jets easily remove GelMatrix from blood vessels with inner diameters and wall thicknesses as small as 1.0 mm.
