The goal of this course is to teach you how to use the Insight software to optimize FDM models built on FORTUS manufacturing equipment. The focus of this course is on the fundamental skills and concepts central to the successful use of Insight. Once you have developed a good foundation in these skills, you can refer to the dynamic help for information on less frequently used command options.

    The Stratasys Level 2 training guide will be supplied at the beginning of class and is yours to keep.

  • Completion

    Students will have a thorough understanding of the use of the Insight software to optimize part builds allowing them to use their 3D printer in the most efficient and effective manner possible. Students that choose to attend the optional day 3 will be familiar with operation, calibration, and maintenance of the FORTUS 360mc, FORTUS 400mc, FORTUS 380mc, or FORTUS 450mc.

  • Prerequisites

    Students attending this course are expected to have the following:
    • Basic knowledge of computers and Windows operating system.
    • Basic familiarity with either GrabCAD Print or Insight.
    • Basic operation of a Stratasys FDM 3D printer.
