- Design Preparation; Customizing menus
- Set up Design Library folders
- Creation of Smart Component
- Creation of library features. Bottle Modeling; Work with template files
- Import images to use as guide for bottle design
- Creating bottle from scratch. Mold Design; Standard mold layout and construction using templates. (manual) Mold Master layout and construction. (for automation) Setting up for automation. Using DriveWorksXpress to generate “same but different” mold components.

Prerequisites
Students attending this course are expected to have the following:
• Mechanical design experience.
• Attended the following SOLIDWORKS courses: Advanced Assembly Modeling and Surface Modeling
• Experience with the Windows™ operating system.
