How will this merger impact me?

It’s business as usual at both Computer Aided Technology and 3DVision Technologies. We are working to make this integration as smooth as possible for everyone. Your sales and support representatives will remain the same.

In the coming months, we will be working to combine resources, processes and infrastructure. During this time, we will be transitioning the 3DVision Technologies brand into Computer Aided Technology with the result being one company, one brand, and one source for your product development needs – Computer Aided Technology (CATI). As we move through this process, we value our clients’ direct feedback into how we can create the best customer experience possible.

When is this merger effective?

What additional value does this merger offer my company?

Moving forward, 3DVision Technologies clients will gain access to CATI’s wealth of additional technical resources for SOLIDWORKS and Stratasys as well as expanded training class availability, our CATalyst Training Subscription program, and additional scheduled live and virtual training classes, and events. In addition, we will introduce current 3DVision Technologies clients to additional products and value added services from Computer Aided Technology and InFlow Technology.

The combined technical resources of Computer Aided Technology and 3DVision Technologies includes over 90 product development professionals specializing in a variety of industries, products, and applications.

Who will be doing the service work for projects?

Both 3D Vision Technologies and Computer Aided Technology will be handing projects for all customers. As for the projects, we will assign the best person or team for your company’s needs from 3D Vision Technologies or Computer Aided Technology. We will base the decision on work requirements, project specifications, and familiarity with your current setup to get your company the best candidate/team for the project.

Do we need to setup Computer Aided Technology as a vendor in our system?

As of right now, we can still collect payments as 3D Vision Technologies, but you will want to create Computer Aided Technology as a vendor in your accounting system moving forward.

What About Training?

You can continue to take training at your local 3DVision Technologies or Computer Aided Technology Training Facility.  As we move forward with this integration, 3DVision Technologies clients will gain access to CATI’s CATalyst Training program as well as schedule live Virtual Training classes.
