The other day in class a student asked about making a Composer animation stop at a certain point of the animation without making a part flash a color. Well, here is one answer in the YouTube video below. It involves the "Next" event in SOLIDWORKS Composer.
The next event will play the animation from the current position until you hit the next "MARKER". The marker is like a chapter in a DVD. Clicking just above the animation bar in the white space will add a maker. Give it a name and off you go. That can open up a lot of possibilities. Like asking questions of your assembliers. How much torque went on that bolt? We will try that next time.
