Even More Power with VXelements 6.1

, Even More Power with VXelements 6.1

As an industry leader, Creaform is always looking to improve and enhance the functionality of its scanners and software.  With VXelements 6.1 set to be released soon, we will have even more power in inspection and reverse engineering.

One thing many users want to know is how easy is it for beginners to use the scanners to inspect their product.  From personal experience I can say that geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) has a lot that goes into it and especially at the beginning can be confusing.  With the new release, intelligent algorithms allow for better alignments without being an expert in GD&T.  There will also be a new snapshot tool giving us an optimized workflow.

Likewise, reverse engineering can be a tricky thing to do.  One of the issues I have seen with scans have been boundaries that are not very clean.  With 6.1 we will have a new boundary command to give us cleaner boundaries which will give us better results, especially in things like silhouette cross-sections.  We will also see improvements in cross-section and cut mesh by plane.

Look for these enhancements and more on December 4th!
