Blog Proper 3D Printer Shutdown - Stratasys 3D Printer Support Tip
It is very important to shut a Stratasys machine down properly when not in use. This will prevent material from getting clogged in the tubing and print heads. The printheads may become permanently damaged if the proper precedures are not performed.
If your 3D Printer is not going to be in use for two to three weeks, run the shutdown wizard.
If your 3D Printer will not be in use for more than three weeks, run the Machine flush/fill wizard and load the machine with cleaning solution.
