SOLIDWORKS 2015 What’s New – eDrawings now supports annotation views #sw2015
SOLIDWORKS 2015 now gives you the ability to use 3D annotations such as DimXpert dimensions. In fact, the entire user interface has been enhanced. When opening a file that has annotations, you now have a command in the lower right corner that allows you to toggle through the different views.
When you click on the annotations icon in the lower right corner, you get an Annotations View pane
Once selected, you get a couple of options that you can perform. If you select the dot, it shows the annotation view. If you select the name, it activates and rotates to that view.
eDrawings also now supports custom properties. This gives you the ability to share important information with your customers. To see the custom properties, select File, Custom Properties.
Once selected, you are able to see all the custom properties that are associated with that file.
