SolidWorks: O/S Upgrade and Activations

If you are planning to upgrade the operating system on your SolidWorks workstation, please first transfer your SolidWorks license(s).  If a license is not transferred, the O/S upgrade will trigger a new computer ID in the Activation Manager.  This will conflict with the one that was generated previously and any subsequent activations will fail.  License transfer can be accomplished via the Help pull down menu within SolidWorks.
