3DQuickForm - Version 3.3.0 Hotfix

Many applications come up when developing blank sizes for drawn models, Material type, draw beads and holding force which spreads the stress distribution over the forming. The 3DQuickForm 3.3.0 Hotfix gives the user more tools to complete his job with a less failures.  

 

Using the Blank Holder feature in 3DQuickForm project.

Apply the Blank Holder feature

  1. Right click on the feature manager tree of 3DQuickForm, select "Set Blank Holder".

  2. Select blank holder surface and enter the blank holder force in kN.

Using the Drawbead boundary condition in 3DQuickForm project

    Drawbead boundary condition can be applied to the Drawbead edge on the blank holder surface, material flow along the Drawbead edge can be adjusted with the Drawbead restraining force.

To apply the Drawbead boundary condition

  1. Right click on the feature manager tree of 3DQuickForm then select "Add Drawbead BC"

  1. Select blank holder surface and enter blank holder force in kN.

This Hotfix supports SOLIDWORKS 2016 and Windows 10.
