CATI and MCAD SOLIDWORKS Blog 2016 Year in Review

CATI and MCAD SOLIDWORKS Blog 2016 Year in Review

To all the readers of the CATI Blog, I wanted start off by saying THANK YOU to all of you for making 2016 our best year to date with the CATI and MCAD blog. To close out the year, I thought I would give everyone a brief recap of what we did with the blog this past year.

The CATI and MCAD Teams joined forces back in April of 2016 and the addition of the new team members brought our total number of blog contributors to 32 for SOLIDWORKS and its related products and 9 total team members for the Rapid Prototyping group.

Total Blog posts for 2016 was 327. We had a low month at the beginning of the year with only 17 and our top month during the What’s New series with 54 articles.

As of December 1, we had over 330,000 unique page views and with us getting on average 33,000 per month and November being our most viewed month with just over 44,000 views. We should close out the year at close to 400,000 page views.

We have a lot of popular articles but by far the SOLIDWORKS 2017 What’s New Series where we post two articles a day for over 30 days, which draws in the most of your views.

We are looking forward to 2017 and are planning on continuing to grow the offerings of the blog, so please continue to check back often as there are now articles being posted every day (Mon-Sat).

Thanks Again from the CATI and MCAD Technical Teams.
