3DVision at SME RAPID 2014

3DVision Technologies will be attending SME RAPID 2014 for the first time, June 9-12. SME RAPID, the largest additive manufacturing and 3D printing forum, will be held at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. The 2014 RAPID show floor includes over 120 exhibitors showcasing the newest technologies in additive manufacturing, 3D printing, mold making, manufacturing, and new materials.

The event will begin Monday, June 9 with the Conference Kickoff at 2:30 P.M. The exhibit hall will be open from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. Tuesday, 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. Wednesday, and 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. Thursday.

Whether you are new to this technology or are a seasoned pro you will not want to miss out on RAPID 2014.

3DVision Technologies is bringing some of the newest technology available in 3d printing to show off at the exhibit hall. At the booth we will be showcasing two types of 3d printers, FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) and PolyJet. We will also have an array of 3D printed parts and applications for those attending the exhibit to see.

The 3D printers that we will have on hand include the Objet 30 Pro Desktop, the only desktop printer capable of printing in clear transparent material. We will also have the Stratasys uPrint SE at our exhibit. The uPrint SE uses FDM technology that thousands of engineers use to test their designs. The powerful platform works seamlessly with CAD software giving you the ability to print immediately. Also at the booth will be the Fortus 250mc 3D Production System. The Fortus produces durable prototypes using high-performance thermoplastics.
