Installation Guide Part 4 – Composer, Plastics, Inspection, MBD and Simulation Installation What do I need to know to install my Composer, Plastics, Inspection, MBD, or Simulation package? First, all of these products are now installed thru the SOLIDWORKS installation manager. To download the installation manager you will need to click the SOLIDWORKS download link. Run the installation manager, and enter the serial number for your products. If you have all of your licenses set up to be renewed at the same time, you may have only one SOLIDWORKS serial number for all of your assets. If this is the case, then you will
Reliability Report and Reboot Check in SOLIDWORKS Rx Oops! Your SOLIDWORKS crashed again. Contact tech support. We get these calls all the time. Users report that their system is crashing constantly, but they can not often tell us anything about their crash. In SOLIDWORKS 2017, we are now going to help you out by providing this information at your fingertips. The next time you are asked to record an RX of your issue, you will see a new tab inside of the tool. The Reliability tab: The reliability tab is going to provide information about how your SOLIDWORKS session was shut down.
Visualize License Change Dear SOLIDWORKS Visualize Customer, SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard is included with each SOLIDWORKS CAD Professional and Premium licenses on active Subscription! For Visualize Standard 2017 and beyond, an additional serial number is required to activate the complimentary seat of Visualize Standard. From October 19th, 2016, and once you have upgraded to SOLIDWORKS 2017, this new additional serial number for eligible users can be found by logging into the SOLIDWORKS Customer Portal and clicking “My Products.” Once you have copied this new Visualize Standard serial number, launch ‘Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features,’ select SOLIDWORKS Visualize, and click ‘Change’ at the top.
Bidirectional Circular Patterns We have all managed to work with the pattern tools that we have been given. Sometimes this makes us think about the best position to start our features in order to create our desired output.
